Peter Layton |
Peter Layton's London Glassblowing is a hot glass studio focused on the creation and display of contemporary glass art. The studio has a reputation as one of Europe's leading glassmaking workshops with a particular flair for the use of colour, form and texture.
He produces individual pieces of decorative glass in sculptural and functional forms. The work is free blown, permitting a greater degree of involvement and attention to detail than is possible on standardised production and ensuring the individuality of each piece. It is the studio's philosophy that each object should be unique and signed by the artist.

Gillies Jones |
Gillies Jones is a partnership between glassmaker and artist. For 18 years they have worked together, through international apprenticeship most notably with Baldwin Guggisberg, Dale Chuhily and Lino Tagliapietra to opening our own studio in 1995.
Their beautiful and elegant glass bowls are crafted by hand. Made from the very best raw materials, each one is hand blown and decorated in our studio in North Yorkshire. The bold and modern designs feature bright colours and graphic patterns, and only a limited number are created each year. With a contemporary approach to design, they are breathing new life into the ancient tradition of glass making.
